Default Armrest Pad

I have designed and will be manufacturing an armrest pad for the 350Z, ‘The ZREST’. The pad is attached to the center console between the hazard button and storage bin and allows for both to be still used. It covers the heater seat buttons on the Touring model (which can be turned on by accident by your elbow). The pad is attached with Velcro so no modifications are required and it is easily removed. I will be taking pre-orders at a special price of $54.95 (retail price will be $64.95).

Default Answers to questions

What are the dimensions?
5" x 5 1/2"

Is the stitching the same color as stock leather and is it made of leather?
Stitching is black and they are made of vinyl. With vinyl I can always get consistant color and texture (to the black center console) where as leather would be to hard to match consistantly. And leather would be more costly.

How does the center compartment open?
It fits between the compartment and hazard button allowing for the button for the compartment to be pushed (please see ZREST pictures)

Is it made of leather and will it be availabel in red?
No it is vinyl and no plans to make other colors right now.

What is your ETA for delivery?
I am shoting for getting the 1st shippment out on 4/25.

If anyone has any other questions please PM or email me: zrest@dandfent.com

Thank you

I have just ordered one of the Zrests. I will post a review after I get it and have a chance to evaluate it. It sounds like a great idea. I t also seems a little expensive but if it is good quality then it will be worth it. Stay tuned.

Grey,

Two questions.

-Is the velcro permenantly attached to the console?

-How does the rest fit over the console on the side with the e brake?

-Can you make one larger (10inches in length)? I'd be happy to pay the premium.

Thumbs up

This is a Good idea, the best thing about it is that its serves a purpose without taking away from the looks of the interior...

It'll make the shift much more comfortable for us manual drivers

I did a design modification that removed the side wings. The pad still attaches to the center console with Velcro and the dimensions are 5”x5”. The retail price has dropped to $49.95 with a new pre-order price of $42.95. Please see the web site for more information, pictures and to order. For questions either PM or email me.

What about one with cut-outs for the heated seat switches. That way your arm could rest on top but your fingers could sneak through to press the buttons.

Default got my ZREST today.

ZREST is here. I put it in and took it for a spin. Perfect fit. Well made. Very detailed and looks totally stock. Works well and actually makes the driving more comfortable. I wasn't really hitting the heater button after I got used to the car. This just made the arm positioning more natural.

A+++ thanks,
