Default Carbon Fiber Cooling Plate

This is a cooling plate I made for my Dad's 350z this last week.

sorry it is already dirty in some of the pics.

I have made a few for some friends and finally got around to taking pictures of this one.

It is made using all the things a proper piece of carbon fiber is made with. I used a vacuum bag along with mylar sheeting for a super shiny look. On this particular one I used a thin foam core to make it a little stiffer.

tell me what you guys think.

Also if anyone wants one let me know, I'll make you one for $80. A whole lot cheaper than APR's $125 listed on their site.

It's supposed to go all the way across on each side. Kind of defeats the purpose if you leave the air duct open like that.

Not bad; looks a bit unrefined, though. Autotechnic makes a nice molded one that goes all the way accross with a little scoop for the intake, even, for $100 (I have one and love it; adds a nice touch under the hood).

the purpose of this is to cover up the hole in front of the radiator. I modeled it after the APR one.

thanks for the input
