I bought this kit from Eastwood when it went on sale for $30:

It pulled out 2 of the 3 dings i had in my doors. The one it did not pull out is right on the damn natural crease high on the drivers door under the side view mirror. I don't even know how that ding got there without damaging the mirrror, but it's there. As long as the ding is on a flat section, it will pull it nicely. I actually just got a ding low on my passenger door that i need to pull when i have time. It was worth the $30 I spent on the kit.

One side note. The plastic cross bar seems to flex a little bit, so I went to home depot and bought some steel stock and replaced the plastic with the steel (cost about $5).

 

I got 2 dents on that stupid crease. These kits wont work unless its flat?? I got quoted 40$ by a dent removal dude, prolly gonna go that route.

I had a PDR guy fix a few dents on my car and i got to watch him work. he didnt "pull" any of them out like the tools used in this thread. instead he had sets of tools that looked like screwdrivers with a right angle bend about the last third. also the end of the tool was rounded and smooth. some of the tools were really long with no handles, kinda like giant allen wrenches. he went in from behind the dents and massaged them out in sort of a circular motion. some through the window sill and in one case he drilled a small hole in my rear fender liner(repaired and sealed afterwards). you'd be hard pressed to find any of the dents now,including one that was the size of an orange above my left rear wheel. the whole job took him two hrs and was seriously amazing to watch such skilled work. four dents,160$ and well worth it.

 

Yeah those PDR guys that use the tools to remove the dent from the inside of the panel do some great work. I think that's definately the way to go for removing dents.

I'd say for $40.00 that's worth it. Doesn't seem like a bad price at all.

 

Dent removal quoted me like 75 a dent, and they did not seem professional in anyway. I realized i don't think I would let them touch my car. This was even our phone conversation:

Phone Rings:
Them: Hello?
Me: Hello.
Them: Ya?
Me: Is this a business?
Them: What?
Me: Is this a business?
Them: Ya (sarcastic mean voice)
Then they quote me from there etc.

They are the only PDR in my town... wtf.

usdentguys.com Def the best, about 60 a dent, and they "massaged" the dents out with a bunch of crazy *** tools!! It was amazing! Im in NJ but I think they are nation wide......
