Does anyone know of a company who makes a shifter **** that resembles a fighter jet control stick? Something with like a ergonomic pistol grip, real or fake missle and trigger buttons, something cool like that? Like a toned down replica one made for a car, not a gigantic gaudy one out of an actual jet.
the Z window lines always resembled a jet to me, maybe Ill make a custom HUD and a tailored f-18 fin-style spoiler. Probably not. Serious about the shifter though.

Only Batman is cool enough to get away with this. If you are not Batman, you lose. If you are Batman... thank you... you're doing a great job out there.

Doesn't exactly have buttons to press but I'm sure you can mod them in. I bought this a little while ago and like it a lot. Only thing is that since it's metal it gets kinda hot if its like 90+ degrees outside.

so wings, canards, extra guages, 5 pt. harnesses, and intake scoops are cool on both...but a shifter **** is really crossing the line I guess.
Oh well, looks like I'll have to make my own shifter.

i can see where you're goin with the analogy.. but perhaps space ship is more fitting.
i 'like' the novelty of the idea, however unless you go all out and start wraping your ebrake with yellow/black tape, put REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT tags on everything, and have some multi-function displays, then i'd say. yah. ok. the flight stick idea works. but you're only supposed to hold the shifter when shifting and 95% of the time your hands should be on the steering wheel-- driving.
when you wanna shift fast, all those fire buttons/comm switches will just get in the way.
may i suggest the K.I.T.T. steering wheel instead!
