Unfortunately, they wont look right on the US Nismo cars due to the reflectors they added to the bumper.

can someone find the difference between the JDM fenders to the USDM one? They look like there's some flare there, but the angle is making it hard to see.

and damn those black nismos look HOT. So much concavity!

The JDM fenders have a small added lip. US cars don't get those. The Nismo rims are dark gray just like the body kit trim.

 

all the press photos I saw before the release had the lip around the fender... I thought it looked terrible, so I'm glad it didn't make it, but that makes the nismo model that much more plain or normal.

 

I love the look of these canards......not to mention the "cleanness" of the front bumper without those d@mn side reflectors........

 

i wonder if they could've used the "fender wall" on the bumper in order to put in the reflector, sorta like the BMW 335i..

edit: sorry for going slightly off topic....but yea, the canards look really nice..though I wouldn't run them on a street car.

 

looks 100% better sans canards IMHO

as I recall JDM fenders and US ones are the same - the JDM Spec 380 RS version does get the lips though, the normal NISMO version car (white one shown) does not get them though

WHY OH WHY did they insist on putting reflectors on the US version? SOOOOOOO 2003.

 

to pass safety regulations. I can't imagine them putting it anywhere else. it sucks.

That red z looks nice. very aggresive. If someone really wanted to have those canards, just shave thre reflectors. Just sucks doing it to a new 38k car.
