Default Custom CF Door Panels

So its been a while since i posted pics of anything ive been workin on so i figured i'd share some of these. A set of door panels with speaker pods modled in. I am wraping them in cf. They are not totally done but very close. They still need a little sanding and then clear, but u can see how they will turn out. Opinions welcome of course.

i think we need to see the finished product.

I'm personally not a fan of the CF craze... but at the same time, our stock doors look like ****. so it may be a nice touch

I am assuming that the remaining sanding will get rid of all of the ripples and bumps?

yea u can see the drivers side is further along and has less ripples...the resin has ripples cuz it falls into the weave of the cf and as i sand and add more resin it gets smoother and smoother til the last coat when its sanded and sprayed with clearcoat....the end result is as smooth as glass!!

I definitely respect your work and the uniqueness in integrating the pods in there. However, way too much carbon fiber for my taste.

they make pretty much everything for the body of the Z in cf already...the only thing i think they are missing is the rear fenders....i'm down to do em though if i got someone who wants em...full cf body would be kinda crazy!
