well, last night a tree branch took care of my front lip, 4 days after someone hit my back bumper. this is all within the 1st week i have the car. so, i'm lookin for a new lip and bumper. is there any kits that would take care of my needs? even if i needed to purchase side skirts, too, that would b cool. u guys know of anything that's not too exotic? i like the nismo kit, but don't really wanna pay that much. isn't it like $1500? thanks, guys.

 

call mike at 604-592-0233 about the nismo kit. he's the manufacturer of the replica nismo body kit. tell him david kern sent you...he'll hook you up.

you can replace the whole front bumper (the nismo bumper will have the lip at the bottom already). it's one piece. he's a good guy...might take a few tries to get in touch with him. if he doesn't answer the phone (sometimes way to busy) email him at headturner604@hotmail.com

so the oem front lip and bumper is one piece, and so is the nismo? i've lost both my front and rear bumper? man, i didn't even have this thing 2 weeks.

 

i'm confused. you are looking for a rear bumper as well?

the front bumper will have the lip you are looking for at the bottom of it. the OEM bumper doesn't have a huge lip at the bottom...you can have the front spoiler on it...but there isn't a so called lip like the nismo front bumper. what happened to the bumper?? if you replace it with the nismo front bumper...it'll be one piece with the nice lip at the bottom of it. rear bumper...nismo doesn't make one. or were you saying that you already had to replace that??

well, the rear needs replaced; i do know that. the front has a hole in the cross-section underneath the mouth, so i think that means i need a new front end, too. that whole thing is one piece, correct? i'm just tryin to discern if i need a new front bumper, or if i could do with a lip. now like u said, if the nismo piece is a whole new front end, it doesn't matter. thanks.

 

the OEM is only one piece as well...so you would have had to replace the whole thing anyway. but, the nismo kit looks great. it's worth the money. call mike...see what kind of deal he can give you. mention my name...he'll hopefully knock it down a bit.

The front and rear bumper caps from the dealer are about $250ea. unpainted and they are really easy to change.
