I am personally very happy with mine. I can see quite a few spots that have been 'touched' or 'dinged' on the clear bra already on close inspection that would be almost guaranteed chips if it had not been there.

I guess I was also lucky as my installer was excellent. No peeling, dust underneath, fading or discoloration, or other. I can't notice it if I don't look for it, and I have had many people ask me if I am going to get a bra or other protection on my car only to point out I already have it.

When it is done correctly I think it is one of the best purchases you can make to protect it.

And with all the weather changes in Colorado and our use of gravel for everything I couldn't imagine not having it.

I am very sorry to hear about your problem. I agree with RODH about the title being off.

The probelm is the installer. The product is already difficult to install not to mention the bumper piece. What it looks like from the pictures is that they did not make sure to seal the edges all the way down for one. They also looked htey had problem getting it on the bumper.

I have been installing fpor several years now and have installed more cars than I can count. Sure someone can have a bad day. If that happens they should make up for that by redoing it or just plain old making the customer happy> refund whatever it takes.

I would demand my money back or have them do it until it is right.

To future users of the product make sure that your installer knows what they are doing and that they can do a Z car. The product is a great add-on to your car.

I've had mine for about 7 months now. I had it installed by Jeremy and his team from Invisaguard. It took three installers two and one half hours to do the job right! It was worth the time and money IMO.

I got the kit with the bumper, fenders, hood and mirrors. They also cut a piece that fit behind the door handles so that I wouldn't scratch the rear quarter panels every time I opened the doors

The kit also included two headlight pieces that were considerably thicker than the rest of the kit.

It's all about the installer

I know I posted some pics of the install but that was some time ago. I'll see if I can find the thread.

I also had my clear bra done by Jeremy about six months ago after getting a paint chip on my front bumper during my very first drive Touched up the paint chip the best I could and sweated the drive up to Petaluma to get it done.

Since then, absolutely no paint chips whatsoever from the freeways of the San Francisco Bay Area. Those who criticize the clear bra have probably not seen a properly installed one. People don't notice it unless you tell them it's there. I have forgotten about it after the second week.

Here's the best part......Before clear bra, I would have been stressed out driving anywhere near a large truck or loaded pickup. After clear bra, I still try to stay away from trucks but now I can enjoy my drive instead of being worried about what might happen to the front end. How much is that worth?

Invinca shield is the company that I'm having problems with. I'm sure their kit are fine but when you put on your site an installer you should have proof that they do a good job.

When I asked for a replacement they said sure for $270. I thought the least they could do is send me a free replacement.

Am I just being stupid? When I see a list of installers on someone's web site I'm under the assumption that they will do a good job.

I didn't take those as anything more than the typical "find our product here" type references. I was planning at one point to go Invinca Shield, but I actually called them and asked them about several installers on their list, and went with the one they were most favorable on (then got an Xpel kit installed by that guy )

In the end, you did no real business directly with Invinca-shield. Your fight to me sounds like it is with the installer. I would, however, tell them they might want to consider the reputation they may be getting from this installer, and it might be to their best interest to help you or at a minimum remove the installer from their list.

I agree with that somewhat with one exception.

Here is what their web site says:

INVINCA-SHIELD is designed to be a DO-IT-YOURSELF product, so it is quite user friendly. All of kits come with installation materials and an instuctional video. Should any questions or concerns arise, we also offer a TOLL-FREE installation HOTLINE where one of our professional applicators will be available to assist you. Go to our for installation instructions.

If it's so easy then why can't one of their trained installers do it correctly(he was trained by them)? I've contacted the installer but he's a POS that refuses to give me my money back so I guess I'm just out the $$.

I will say that if you can find a quality installer you'll probably be OK but if something is wrong with the kit your probably screwed.

I am driving to LA to get my clear bra installed today. Most likely I will just do the ft bumber, I do not like the seam down the middle of the hood. I will let you know how it goes. Sounds like i will love it or hate it depending oh the installer.

Take him to small-claims court.

These comments here are the reasons why YOU NEED to make sure the installer is a competent one.

Sometimes the manufacturer of the kits knows that the installer can do good installs. What you have to remember is maybe the installer can do it on Audi A4's all day long, but can they do Z cars. The 350Z bumper is not easy and is way different install than many other cars.

Ask for references or see their work is the best thing you can do.

Read my post "100% happy with my clear bra installation".

I just got my bumper done on my 350Z and another SS Z got the same while i was there. They both turned out perfect! The skill of the installer is the key between high quality work and you being happy and you wanting them to take it off and start over again.
