headlights...starting to get beat up

Default headlights...starting to get beat up

my headlights are starting to have a bunch of tiny scratches on them, and it reflects the light sideways. i tried scratchX and it didnt do ****. buffed them, that didnt work, and even wetsanded and buffed them. still didnt work.

does anybody here have a way to make my headlights look new again? its starting to irritate me!

Try Plexas plastic polish. Get it online or at a motorcycle shop. Haven't used it myself, but have heard good things about it. If my headlights ever get to that point, I'll just use it as an excuse to upgrade to the '06 HIDs, lol.

2000+ Grit superfine sandpaper, wet sand, buff, then polish, polish some more.

Or you can look up "Novas plastic shine" it works pretty great i got some this past weekend and was very pleased...

i used 800 grit, and buffed after, and the scratches are still there. they show especially at an angle, and the light refracts off of it. ill give the 2000grit a try, and if that doesnt work, il try the [polishes, but eventually im gettin the 06's lol

after the 2k grit and polish use some clear overlays. They will look perfectly smooth and will be protected with the overlays.
