either one is an aesthetic mod only, so go with whichever one you like better. IMO paint is the better choice because it gets into the edge near the glass which the CF version doesn't

Either way is great. I just had my roof painted gloss black. Looks great.

But the body guy messed up my vinyl trim near the windshield and still hasn't called me in a week and a half to tell me the part has come in from Nissan. Think I'll give him a call tomorrow.

 

I say get the roof/A-pillar combo group buy I have going for $800 shipped.

 

way less to worry about with the paint. cf will fade and any imperfections will look worse on cf. in the long run, paint > cf. The cf looks cool if you have money to waste. At night they will look the same. In the day the paint will look better b/c it will still look black.

I don't think there is a code for what he used. Just went with a typical gloss black by whatever supplier he uses. It's a basic color.

Black....CF looks tacky as hell and its a overlay which just makes it pointless.
