Default Custom Mirror Bases Completed by Tonester:

I had Tony wrap my mirror bases in CF for a subtle touch to the exterior of my car.

They turned out wonderful, tony really gets the details. He airbrushed the edges of all the carbon fiber mat so you could not see any seams on the edges and they are thickly clearcoated. There were a few minor imperfections, such as a pinhole in the clear coat on one and some waviness in the clear on one hard angle, but I am extremely happy with them. I wanted a super subtle CF look, and most people don't even notice, with one guy saying he though they were stock soo, the effect worked.

as far as I know I'm the only one with these (and hope to stay that way! lol) and with the pain these were for tonster to make I bet they will be! haha.

I just sent out my B pillars to be wrapped to match as the Gruppe S overlays I had chalked up something fierce! can't wait to complete the look. I lost the USB cable to my camera so I have more pics, these were taken by Helldorado on a club day (project forward motion)

I lost my camera cable!! sorry, I have like 20 more pictures and yeah, like I said, they blend in so nicely. I can't wait to NOT be driving around with no B pillars since I look like a total ricer and it messes up the effect hahaha.

Oh, I also want to thank KelkonaKustoms (Jim) for helping me with the install.

you guys would need to contact tonester for quotes, I will not disclose pricing as I do not know if he has set prices.

they do make overlays for the mirror bases as well as a second option which doesn't require you having a second set of mirrors on hand...

My overlays are turning yellow. I think I'm going to send out my mirrors.

BTW, if you do the overlays the right way, they look good.

yeah the overlays that Kelkona has look really good. just get the overlays cleared and you should be ok in terms of the yellowing.

edit: you can't clear them after the fact.
