the only thing that sucks (which has nothing to do with the mirror bases at all and was preexisting) is the gasket that fits over the top of the mirror base (little triangular corner) was ripped at the bend on my passenger side before I even went to remove it.

 

I bought mine from elegantwooddesign.com a long time ago. It's not that bad. It stopped when I garage kept my car. I lived in el paso, tx at the time. They were under direct sunlight for about 8 months.

I'm switching em' out soon. What other companies make the overlays?

no no, remember, the bases I sent you weren't mine as I said in the post 'pre existing'! I noticed it when jim was disassembling the door panel and the door was swung open. I hadn't really looked before, you can't really tell though, it's just a little crack./

Anybody, I'm looking for either the whole mirror casing or just the bracket that attaches mirror to the car on the drivers side. I have an 06, but one from an '03-'05 should fit. Factory grey if possible
