The headlight conversion listed on our site is the only one we will be offering. The only other variant we would be able to create, would be a body colored housing.. rather than black. We will not be offering a non-LED version of this headlamp, nor do we sell just the clear strip.

XBS> We are not working on a 200 dollar Civic halogen reflector headlamp. The 350Z headlamps are much more complex. You have to understand, the LEDs cost money, the modifications to fit and mount, wire, solder, and properly insulate the wiring and LEDs, costs money. We have the skill and experience to properly disassemble and reassemble the product with factory sealant, not silicon. All of our modifications come out so clean, they look like they came from the factory that way.
We stock all of the lights for the 350Z *except* for the headlights. Customers with lower-mileage Z's will not want headlights from Z's with higher mileage which have more weathering and wear. This is why we require all headlights be sent in. Again, our products are not for the typical street cars. We focus solely on show, race, and extreme street cars.

WhahaahaWHAT Your charging 800 dollars to "modify" existing headlights? I thought the 800 dollars wasn't so crazy for a set of custom headlights, but for 2 dollars worth of black paint and a couple LEDs you have to be out of your mind. What are you paying yourself per hour to do this conversion, 200 dollars?
Man this is silly.

They're basically charging for the labor, since these aren't mass-produced.
Anyway, I really think they're cool. I especially dig the parking light! However, I wouldn't like the black housing on my Chrome Silver car. I actually prefer the OEM housing. I'd love the OEM housing with just the LEDs installed.

Alot of people on www.newcelica.org baked them and painted the housing black on the 2000 and up celica. They tuned out nice as well.
I ended up buying JDM lamps insted that already had black housing. They were 700 bucks.
$800 bucks is a lot of money. You can a body shop paint them for you for alot less. I see them do it all the time for Volkwangon cars and Audi's.
If the price was $500 then that more torable and Id jump on the band wagon.

Have you ever looked into how expensive it is to injection mold OEM-quality lights? Have you ever noticed how poor of a fitment most aftermarket lights have? How they never seal properly and tend to have condensation issues? Have you ever touched the plastic to see how thin the plastic is, and how easily it cracks and scratches? What about the paint? Have you not seen how shoddy the chroming and paint jobs are with most of these aftermarket lamps? I wont even begin to talk about the diodes some of these companies try to pass off as calling LED, let alone high-intensity.
When you understand these differences, maybe then you will understand why we are in business.

Unfortunately, I have to say old_s13 is right. I looked into doing some of these modifications, now I have an extra set of headlights that cost me a bundle. I am thinking about making a modification like the one in the picture below. But with the 350Z projecter in two places. One for High and the other for Low beams. so far I have spent 1600 and it's still in the process. I love the conversion you guys did at clearcorners, your products have always been top notch. I've ordered a lot from you guys, keep up the good work.

It blew my mind when I saw one of my customer's show cars, he had a ~$10,000 dollar paint job on this car! From a distance, the car looked incredible. From 6 feet away, the car looked incredible. Inches away I am staring at the paint on this car, and it looked incredible!!! Repainting a car is obviously a much bigger job, but anyone who has worked with plastic knows how fragile and intricate it can get. There is no room for error, as mistakes can cost you BIG BUCKS.
Its a risky business, and rushing these conversions usually results in more mistakes and a less quality product.

My point isn't the quality of the OEM headlamp my point is your trying to selling about 12 dollars worth of parts and 788 dollars worth of labor.
Anyway good luck with your business, there is a sucker born every minute so I'm sure it will flourish.
