Was driving last night and noticed the headlight on the drivers side would flicker and go out. Turn off the lights and turn em back on and they would work fine for about 2 minutes then flicker and out. I tohught it might be the bulb going bad but some others have told me that it could possibly be the ballast going bad. Question: Does this sound like my ballast is indeed going bad? My Z is a 2004.5 base that I dont believe came with HID's. The sticker on the front of that ballast is really faded so I cant see if it is a Nissan ballast or another aftermarket company. If it is my ballast where would the cheapest place to find one be at? Nissan dealer out here said a new one from them could be into the $400 range.

 

Sorry to bump an OLD thread, but I'm having the same issue and have a strong feeling it's the ballast or a bad ground. Any ideas?
