I'm really happy with them - they look a lot better than the solid orange bulb. My only complaint is that the base of the light is yellow tinted plastic instead of clear.

No problem. Check out my very first post in this thread. It shows a pic of the leds as well as a link to the site I bought them from.
I dont mean to burst your bubble, but those plug-in LED replacements are not really adequate enough for street use and could get you in a bit of legal trouble should your car be involved in an accident. Those LED clusters emit less light than stock and do not have a wide enough viewing angle. Its very important that the Z33 front and rear signals are visible from a multitude of angles.

Just curious if anyone had noticed that the municipal buses, at least here in SoCal, use LED brake, tail and turn signal lights and they are SPANKING bright. I was following one this morning and it seemed like there were only about a dozen or so LED elements in each light, althought the housing itself was fairly large, maybe 6" or 8" in diameter. Hey Ares, you're the expert on this. Couldn't that same type of LED element be used to make a compact "bulb" replacement that is as bright as the oem one?

You are right, Mike. After having them installed for a couple of months I have realized that the turn signals are not bright enough during the day, especially from the side. Another unfortunate side affect is that the blinker flashes twice as fast, presumable due to a difference in resistance. Good for show, but a liability on the street.
