I got hit and run today. Look like someone just back into my car while going out of the parking lot. People are so careless, they have no respect for other people car. the place got no camera, and nobody saw it.

the back bumper is all scraped up. I need to repaint it.

do you have an estimate of how much to repaint just the bumper? any good place in san jose bay area?

$371. JUST had mine done not 2 hours ago. Im serious.

 

depends on the color. insurance paid $900 to paint my front bumper. the body shop said the pearl finish makes it more expensive.

 

mine color is silverstone. so around $500 is a good deal?

do you think my insurance will pay for this? if I tell them hit and run.

do I still have to pay my deductible to get it fix?

I didnt claim mine. I dont think $500 is worth a claim. Mine is silverstone too. It SHOULDNT be MORE than $500. if it is youre getting screwed.

don't report a claim, if no body saw nothing. they won't be able to reimburse your money.

1. you're going to pay your deductible when you can pay less to fix.

2. it'll stay on your insurance record.

3. don't have to worry about having an adjuster lag your claim.


it should cost no more then $300 to fix.

 

my buddy's custom body shop charged me 250 for a bumper....
ferrari, lambos, Bimmers and Mercedes AMGs from out of town come to his shop.

 

should run you in the range of 250-450 depending on who you know, or dont know

 

$500 is right on the average. i went to 4 different places and they all quoted $500 plus or minus $50
