Default a little something different

hey guys I wrapped a few items in a blank vinyl (leather look a like) tell me what you think. Be nice this was my first time trying this kind of thing, and no doubt will be changing it up I learn a lot from doing this.

Looks a bit off. Like, you can tell the vinyl is sticking out way more than it should.

Yea I noticed that too in the pics but in real life it is closer, I am not sure I am keeping it.

I wouldnt, unless you can get it done looking pro. The difference is minimal over stock, I would hit it with some white stitching along the borders, kinda like a lambo. What is on your gauge pods?

yeah just wrap it a little tighter and if you add a little accent like stitching or something it will look even better, then match your shift boot to the vinyl color

not being mean but it needs alot of work.

it really does look like you haven't done it before, I would take it off and try again. there are a couple creases and the material isn't rolled over the edges very well either.

it just looks sloppy.

but I am interested in doing the same thing, so the idea is great! practice makes perfect!!!

no offense, thats why I posted it I want opinions. It was my first go at it. The material was very hard to work with it. I'd like to update to an 06-07 center stack and console.

can you transfer the 03 ***** into the different placement on the 06 or do you NEEd to run all the parts?

also, I bet that stuff is hard... don't you have to use a heat gun and stretch it around the sides?
