Ok, so I am looking for some notes in regards to installing 06 headlights on an 03-05 and also the 03-05 headlights on an 06.

I am going to do a swap with a friend and I want to know what's involved for both of us in order to make the headlights functional. I know when you swap the 06 lights into an 03-05, you need to cut one of the legs (middle one right?) on the blinker bulb so it does not stay lit all the time.

What's involved for the 06 to 03-05 conversion? Will it be a simple plug and play or will there need to be some bulb modifications made as well?

I know this has been addressed numerous times but the search feature on this website is truly useless...I was not able to find any information that I was looking for.

Search. Just swap over the harness on the headlights OR make your own harness like I did.

I thought that upgrading to the 06 lights from a 03-05 was a plug and play minus the signal bulbs. If that's the case, why would you need to remake harnesses?
