Default Headlights Keep Burning Out

I own a 2005 Z which I bought brand new. I love the car and does everything I want from it. I initially replaced the stock headlights with some PIAA Hyper white lights to get more out of the front headlights. There was a difference after spending 80 bucks but eventually the lights burned out one after another. So for a year I kept replacing them though the warranty established by PIAA and this performance shop. Got tired of that ordeal so I invested 400 bucks on HID's. Had them installed in June and recently one of the lights burned out. I always seemed to noticed that it happens after it rains. Any thoughts please why my lights keep burning out?

Thanks

los

Either you are touching the bulbs with your bare hands which has natural oils on them that makes it burn out or you have condensation in your headlight which causes them to blow out. since you said it blows out after a day of rain, i'm guessing the condensation.
