$170 for the rear 5 windows. 13% all around. Looks amazing on Carbon Silver...I can't wait to get gloss black wheels to go with it.

Tint Connection in the OC for the win.

20% on all 3 sides. The dark interior only made the tint looks darker than it is. Not too many reputable places will go lower than 20%. It was nicely done. Wouldn't go any darker because I do like to drive my vehicle when there is no sun. Plus living in an area that have little street lighting makes it hard to turn. BTW, there are still some idiot that drives with either parking or no lights. Also don't want to hit no trick-or-treaters.

Of course auto manufacturers tint their cars from the factory. You've never seen that? It's the best tint job you can ever get, because it's in between two layers of glass. However, you can only get it on the rear windows of a vehicle - and certainly not on a 350z. I tinted mine to 35% ; not too dark, not too light. It's a nice improvement.

Mass is the worst from my own experience with tinted windows on my old car. Had them 11% all around and got nailed by a cop. He gave me a "break" with a $250 ticket for just one window. He said he could have nailed me with 250 for each window in the car. Nice guy, huh? Needless to say I stripped the front windows and went with 35% (legal lowest tint in MA). I am thinkin about getting it for the Z have to call around. I am sure it will look pretty fricking hot on a PPW

I just got mine done this past weekend...35% all the way around! It is great, it is a definite improvement in the looks department and I can see perfectly through all windows!

As far as cost goes, metallic films will cost you anywhere from $130-$170, ceramic based, are cheaper but less scratch resistant! i ended up going with 3M's CF based film, "Color Stable", which ran me $230 with installation!

Question should be: Who didn't get them tinted? It is usually the first thing people do, especially with leather interior.

To all of you who got illegal tint, wouldn't it be a problem once you are involved in an accident. Say you were switching lanes and hit someone, they can immediately put the blame on your 5% tints. I personally would love 5% all around, but that is the only part that worries me.

I got mine done about a week after I got my Z. My buddy has an NSX and he has no tint. I just wanted to see if this was going to be my first ca without tint, but I could not do it. I got 15% all around, with a vizor. I think it's 5 inches. I payed $120for it.

I have 35% fronts and 20% rear... looks great on SB. The rear can be sometimes difficult at night if you are in an area with no street lights, but ive been happy.
