my last car was black with black leather interior. I could not even drive down the block without my back getting soaked from sweat. A/C could be cranked all the way up and it made no difference. That experience made me get a white car with cloth this time around

my Maxima had leather seats (not heated) and even with the A/C on, in the summer, you still sweat. i agree about the heated seats though, they rock.

I used to have leather, but I had to get cloth seat covers so that it wouldn't be too hot or too cold. Leather seats gives the car a bit more looks and value, but that's about it. Sure it's easier to clean it, but if you forget to close your windows completely, then good luck with shrinkage.

I hate leather seats too. I don't have them in my Z, but every time I make a turn in a car with leather seats, I feel like I slide from one side to the other, while hanging on to the wheel.
Plus leather is just so...harsh looking. It smells funny, requires a lot of upkeep (if you actually want to treat it properly) and makes me feel like a motorcycle momma...but in a lux car LOL. Dunno, its just not for me.
I love my cloth seats but I still want aftermarket seats for even more support.

many cars I would go leather only because the cloth in many cars is really really crappy. GM I am looking at you.
The Z cloth is head and shoulders above many other similar cars have in them.
Personally I went leather but if I had to do it again I might have went cloth. Ask me again this spring.

i think cloth is looks awesome and goes real well with the inside of my car. I like the tiny red lines too! I dont know much about the other fabrics and leathers they have but i think i prefer my seat over leather. Plus i dont stick to the seat in the summer.

i dont think leather belongs in a sports car unless its the suede kind. leather just doesn't hold you in place well enough. some cars can pull it off like the porsche but i'd still prefer cloth or alcantara.

I also prefer cloth seats over leather. The only problem I have with the Z's cloth seats is they seem to be prone to snags / pulls. I have a tiny one on my passenger side that bugs the he** out of me.
