Default Tell diff between 06+ & 03-05 Veilside V1 Lips???

I just bought a 03-05 CF Veilside V1 lip...authentic. Seems like a really tight fit on the bumper. I'm not sure how to tell if it's for the right year for the Z? I thought the 06+ front bumpers were wider....so it doesn't seem like this would fit this one.

Anyways, I thought the older ones had Veilside in raised letters. I saw a newer one with a metal emblem instead on a 06+. But then I saw a car that was 04 with this lip and it had the emblem. So that kind of blew my theory on the newer ones having a emblem instead of raised letters.

Speaking of that, mine has the emblem instead of raised letters....only the emblem is actually missing from it.

There is a part number on the back of it too. But I have nothing to compare it too.

This just seems like a really tight fit on the bumper...like it's actually digging into the sides and leaving damage.

1. Older versions had the raised letters.
2. Newer versions have the metal emblem.
3. I'm pretty sure the 06+ is slightly wider.
4. The lips all fit very tight.

Yeah, it was so tight that is cracked on both sides. also chewed up my bumper pretty good. And this was just to test fit it. I wasn't happy about it. I also did some sanding to get a better fit out of it. but if I could go back I would have removed the front bumper first and also done some trimming on the corners.
