Default Scratches in carbon fiber hood

Is there any way possible to get rid of scratches on a carbon fiber hood. Is there a product out there that will work but not ruin the hood. I have tried to search and have come up with northing. Thanks. Any great scratch removal products out there.

How about cracks? someone pushed my hood closed instead of letting it fall closed, and I have a nice 3 inch long scratch/crack right above the latch. Can a body shop drill this out and fill it with polyurathane/clearcoat?

Maybe I'll try to buff at least the top part out...so, Mother's what? is there a really good polish to use on CF clearcoats?

Most of the time cracks can be fixed as long as the fiber is ok. I've seen them sanded and then recleared.

you can't fix cracks.

You can fix scratches though. I always recommend people once they get their hood brand new to reclear it with nice clear. you can polish it all you want just like regular paint to take out imperfections.
