Looks nice. I was going to do the opposite. Im going paint the center console and have the guage wraped in carbon fiber.

Could you make some cabon fiber pieces for the gauges and the other area you painted blue? I know other people were interested in that.

Proudear in japan makes the carbon cover for the guage but they do not fit. This is becouse the japanese fairlady Z33 is a right hand drive the guages face the wrong way.

Heres the link to show you what i mean. http://proudear.abz.jp/.

Please please make some.

Thanks

Default I can do the reverse if you'd like-

We can paint the dash in body color and give the gauges the carbon fiber look. Or I can paint the dash Kameleon and the gauges CF or the opposite, gauges Kameleon and dash CF.Doesnt matter to me, it's a personal thing and not for me to say how you should like the dash. I just had to do something though, the rest of the car is so hot, but the dash treatment falls WAY short IMHO. Prices can be found elsewhere on the site. Also these pieces are about impossible to get, always on backorder so you'd need to send me yours. I can promise a turnaround of about a week, 7 working days. I don't rush painting plastics. Thanks all for the nice comments

wow that is very nice, tho a bit too much carbon for my tastes. I like that kit that was mentioned in the above posts, where just the top dials and cut out below them r covered in carbon. Im definetly gonna order a set as my car is RHD. Im thinking tho, there needs to be more carbon on the doors or centre console to match. Has ne1 seen those carbon or aluminum handbrake levers available on ebay?

That looks like replacement. IS it replacement or wraparound?

It not real carbon fiber its a tranfered to look like it. They basicly dip the stock console and tranfer a carbon type paint to it.

It looks like the real deal in the pic but I think Ill pass on it. Looks good but not for my taste.

Most of the dash kits that I have seen so far are just plain tacky. This, on the other hand, is very clean looking. I doubt I would ever buy one since I am more of the "go" than "show" type. What is the price, I didn't see it listed?

Looks like the price is $525 (+$35 for gauges painted). I really like how that looks as well, but that price is more than a bit steep. Ah well.

wow I actually asked for exactly this!!

looks great!

except at $600 I'd expect a complete replacement piece.

ah well

I bet you would have 1000s of Z consoles at a price point of $300....

supply = demand right?

but then OTOH mebbe you dont want to make this a full time vocation. so cut down on the volume by increasing the price and maintain the same level of profit?

ah....econ 301...those were the days

These are replacement pieces. That is we do this work to the OEM parts. This is not an add-on. I need your parts in exchange. That's why there is a core charge. As far as the price, well there is considerable labor involved, American labor, not overseas. Yes, thousands of sets would bring the price down, Economies of scale and so on. Somebody will come along try to copy me, and do it cheaper, of this I am sure. You get what you pay for. Don't forget, each of these may be personalized. 'Have it your way'. Also this is my full time 'vocation', and has been for some 20 years. We are just a very small bunch a guys doing our thing the best we can. I'd like to please everybody but....

Give me a little time to put more info on the linked page to alleviate confusion. I do not want to be accused of misrepresentation. I will say now it is NOT real carbon fiber. It is a print. It is difficult to do right. It is an OEM process adapted for aftermarket use. I will answer all the questions that might come up on the replacement page. Sorry if anyone feels confused, it was not my intention. Sometimes I don't realize many people are unfamiliar with this unique method of customizing. As compared to the Ekit well it's a matter of taste. We manufature them too. I just felt this is better for the car because it is a 3D, OEM stlye that flat kits cannot achieve It's like, I like red cars, you like blue cars.
