Default fairlady z emblem

Ok i just got my fairlady z emblem from courtesy nissan very fast shipping. It came with a blue foam pad, how do i install this? is this the templete where i just lay on the Z and stick it on, or do i have to measure, yes i have searched but came up with nothing. could only finds people fighting over whether or not the fairlady z deserves to be on the US version or not lol.

i don't know if there is a template but i put my fairladyz emblem exactly where the 350z emblem used to be. just put a mark where the 3 used to be and stick it on.

The blue foam should be cut diagonal on the left side and it just matches up to the edge of the hatch on the left and bottom edge of the blue foam. Hope that helps.

If you have a Fairlady Z is should go exactly where the original one was. If you own a 350z , put a 350z emblem back on it.

Jeez, people... The 350Z and the Fairlady Z are the same car, with only slightly different specs. Get over it. I was going to put that on the back of mine, but luckily my friends brought to my attention that aside from Z enthusiasts and drivers, everyone else looks at it and thinks you're gay.

you know there is another point that no one has brought up yet.

i used a fairlady emblem from courtesy. put it on my car about 8 months ago, and now the chrome finish has cracked and peeled off. it looks like *** on my car and I HAVE to get it off cuz it's killing the look of my car.

I had read something a while back about courtesy selling knock-off fairlady emblems for the same price as REAL emblems.

not to hijack the thread, but be wary of cheap imitation emblems. I'm thinking about taking off the emblem and just having my nissan burger in the middle.

Similar thing happened with a guy in our club. His didn't peel, it turned some funky color and looked like a$$. I think he eventually got a refund and now Courtesy has a disclaimer that it is NOT OEM? Not sure about that last part.
FYI - I removed the original and left it blank. I think it has better "balance" but to each their own.
