I used the DIY posted on the forum with the faucet stopper. Surprisingly, the 07' 350's don't have a counterweight which I found sort of odd.

Looks good with it. It no longer takes away from the rear's lines and curves.

Bought the plug a while back from Bobby (350zmotoring)....by lookin' @ your pic's, taking the rear wiper off this weekend to join the club

 

I don't know the exact weight but I can tell you that when I open the hatch with the keyfob, the hatch just ejects open without any force cause the hatch is so light. The valving on the stock hatch shocks are too stiff for the weight of the hatch.
