I do this a lot, as I just bought my 350z

It really pisses me off when I do it because it always happens when I'm in a hurry (when I just hit the first button I touch without looking, and I notice the VDC light didnt come on)

Girlfriend at random stoplight: "What are you doing????"

Me: "I gotta get out of the ****ing car and shut my gas door again"

In the week I've had my car I've done this 4-5 times.

I was being sarcastic----Point is.......If a person spends less time whinning about a little inconvenience and just learns to overcome the inconvenience the problem goes away

Thank you Philosopher Eazzzzzzy.

I find complaining to be a sure way to make myself feel better about current woe's, like my girlfriend being on her period.

The gas door can be used to slow down the car like KIT on Knight Rider. I used it all the time when I go on a very sharp turn while drifting.

I admit, at first I got it mixed up, but you get use to it. I use to toggle between on and off, especially during aggressive driving, so in the moment they can get confused.

Many other cars have their "traction" control button on the right side near the shift ****. Overall I think this is a better solution, as while driving, you can use your right hand which is normally off the steering wheel to shift to begin with.

very true lol and they look the same. I do the oposite, i pull up to a gas station, press the damn button, get out, walk around to the pump, pay with my card, undo the pump, and go to put the nozzle in and notice my gas door is still shut loll.... time consuming process sometimes..

The VDC button and fuel door button are a long way apart from one another. It's fairly easy to reach the VDC button. It requires more effort and accuracy to hit the fuel door button. I wouldn't think confusing the two or hitting the fuel door button when going for the VDC button happens very often.
