Default Autotechnik mirrors fittment issue

Having a problem with my mirrors. Fixed a loose pivot point problem - however, the (approx.) 6inch side of the mirror (closest to the driver - mirror rolls up and down) bubbles out slightly on both sides. Anyone else ever experience this? How do I fix it.

Thanks in advance!!

no, the actual mirror seems to be fine. It is the base of the mirror that is causing the weather stripping to pull off the window. Two main concerns:

1. looks
2. will rain funnel in and screw with the electric system?

picts of the issue?
if it sits too high. you can adjust the three mounting bolts so it sits a little lower to the door panel. if you're really **** about water seeping in, Home Depot and or Lowes sells weather stripping material for windows can you can cut and trim down to fit inbetween the door and bottom of the base.

i dont understand your 'bubbling out slightly' comment..

I have a hard time trying to picture what your stating Is it the weather stripping around the door or the mirror it's self?. I also have these mirrors and installed them myself. No problems after more than a year. There really isn't much to it. I'd have to see pics to determine. Maybe you need to take off and readjust?
