best lambo door kit for 07?
Whats the best lambo door kit for an 07? ( i noticed some sites listed them as 03-04 and 05-06, saw no mention of 07 other than just seeing 03+
I dont want 180 degree rotation or anything extreme. just a nice lambo/vertical door kit, preferably made specifically for a z.
simple bolt on would be great. I have also heard some cars require fender cutting and such. Can this be avoided with certain kits?

Don't insult the car. I see people get these and wonder why they didn't spend that kind of cash on something more useful. Most of the time that's the only mod they have. If you call that a mod.

I love how the moment someone mentions "lambo" on the boards, everyone jumps down his/her throat. It's like making fun of someone's personal preference, what's the big deal? Opinions are like a-holes, every1 has one, however let's be helpful and answer the question:
Daily usage best hands down: LSD door kit ($2,000)
Show only: VDC ($1200) or Decah aka ebay brand ($400-600)
Pain in the butt but best looking: GT Factory ($1,000)
LSD has a special mechanism called the "magic stick" that aligns your doors evenly every time you close them. Many people with these kits get their pillars chewed up by the doors smacking them, expect this to happen.
VDC and Decah, I would choose VDC over Decah since it is better built (you get what you pay for) but expect to get various parts of ur car dinged up and chewed up as well.
LSD, VDC, and Decah have roughly the same install cost: $600-$800 depending where you get it done at. They all chew up your car and they all are "bolt-on" door kits. However to answer your question: LSD is the best since it has the "magic stick" which is worth that extra $1k TRUST ME. BTW, shocks tend to go bad on these kits overtime so expect your doors to fall on you after 2-3 years if you do not replace the shocks.
However... GT Factory doors "look" the best since they go up 90 degrees, however the install cost is another factor. Expect to pay 20hrs of labor (roughly $80 an hour?) per door since these need to be welded. You will also need new interior door covers ($300-$500'ish don't quote me on this one)
So in the end, your "out the door" cost would roughly be $5,000 for a GT Factory Kit. PM PumpedVA and Bambam, they both have these kits; they both can attest to how PITA they are (but they attract TONS of attention!)

I used to work for Vertical Doors, Inc. Hands down the best kit out there. That "magic stick" from LSD doesn't even work, and GT is garbage. Still, IMO, I wouldn't get lambo doors on my Z. Just know that there is cutting involved, and its a pain in the *** to get in and out of your car. Unless your car is only gonna be used for shows.
I have spoken to BAMBAM at the Philly HIN about his lambo doors. He has said that the big thing people need to look out for is the dimpleing of the fenders. The door goes up and down and closes smoothly from what I can remember.
