Today I mounted the hood "seibon ts"
But it seems to touch the batteries in plastic and brake fluid.
What should I do?

mine didn't seem to touch. Is it so much so that you can not close the hood itself? I have CTD dampers and a 5/16 MD spacer. My hood gently touches the front strut.

 

The hood touches to the right and left on the two cups and remains raised.
If I lift the cup ... it closes well.

 

I am not sure and it is difficult without photos. Perhaps a local shop can "work it" into place...?

It suck you have to add washers. But that is just a small bump in the road. That's why they call it aftermarket. The money they charge you for these products you would think it would fit fine. Imagine what they would charge then? I guess that's why someone like Top Secret is so high.

 

seibon doesnt' seem to be oem replica fitment as they state or closely state ...

 

I believed most of the Seibon TS hoods touch those areas. Mine also touch thsoe areas. Most people don't even notice it. I didn't notice after a year or so. What I did is take the covers to a body shop and had them modified them lower.

 

mine touches so I just dont run the covers. Im simple I guess. But I hear ya the vents are a pain the a$$, it took me months to work out what was hitting what under the hood.

i had to use about 5-6 washers on the drivers side of my seibon vs, more than half an inch...it sux but **** happens. just shim that b!tch a little.

not tonight but its easy man....just put a couple washers in between the hood and the hinges to raise it up a little...i had to use washers cuz my drivers side was sitting lower than the pass. side...if u put washers on yours it ay make it sit to hight but if u can get away with doing it to give u clearance then go for it.
