The item being bid on is NOT a Nismo bodykit... It's a knockoff.

You get what you pay for.

$420 shipped for a complete knock off kit is not bad; the question is the fitment.

Come on man...this a serious question? $169? You get what you pay for.

$2000 is actually a pretty good deal for a full Nismo kit painted and installed.

2K for an authentic nismo w/ out paint

get a replica from one of the kit sponsors on the forum & then paint it for much less than that.

Kit

Yeah, after thinking about it for a minute, its even TOO good. List price for the kit itself is over $1,700, but you can usually get it for about $1,500.

Paint & install is probably around $1,000, maybe more?

I'm getting the full kit, paying around $1,400 for it and thinking ~$2,200 total w/o install (doing it myself)

I think $2,000 is good. I'd expect to pay that if I wasn't getting it installed, but you are.

A lot more than $169 but its the real deal. I'd do it (I am actually )

What I see is not a Nismo, but a Nismo "style" body kit. For fitments, generally you would want the real thing, but of course this is up to you. I found all of the Nismo aero to be reasonably priced, except for the rear, under fender aero, but I broke down and got that too. The full aero and mud flaps just drove me to drink... had to break down and pay $$$$$.

that kit is made of fiberglass so it mostlikly wont fit right and will crack with the smallest bit of pressure. spend the $$$$$ on the real one

Isn't the real one made out of fiberglass too? Most kits from Japan are, unless you go w/ the hybrid material that is available on Ings+1 kits.

As for the Nismo kit, unless your dealership had the V1 Nismo kti laying around, it is no longer available. Most dealerships did not stock the JDM V1 which is the full front bumper like the one in the EBAY knock off you posted.

Check post #4 from this thread and that comes from a reputable vendor.

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/308394-nismo-v1-front-bumper-availability.html

If you're serious about the kit though, check w/ Andy at Performance Nissan.
