The hood reminds me of the Ferrari Maranello.

I have mixed feelings about it....it looks good only when the car is well grounded in the front or has a low aero kit.

 

I dont like it very much. In fact, I have yet to see any mods I prefer to the stock Z. It is almost as if Nissan has created the most beautiful car, and all acessories make it uglier. However, I love the chrome trim on the grill, for $6.00, it is the best mod for the Z!

 

I love the hood, make the car look mean as hell. I wish I could see the front in person because some pics it looks good and some it doesnt.

 

the hood is a great idea, but I think the execution is lacking. They should have left the stock lines in or have some sort of lines. It looks to me like a plain Eclipse hood with a scoop fiberglassed in. I would need a side view of the car to evaluate the lip

I agree with you, the hood is really nice, but I wish they kept the original lines of the Z hood. That is the only thing keeping back right now from getting that hood, but I will prob. end up getting it anyway.

Its first purpose is to improve appearance, and the second reason is because it pours in air through the vent to the engine. Any other questions????

 

I'm sorry but that kaminari kit and hood scoop pic, from a direct front view angle makes the Z look like a Celica

If you want to make your badass Z's look like a Celica then go for it.....

 

that hood doesn't make it look anything like a Celica. Look at a Celi's hood...scoop is raized, and goes all the way towards the back, not the middle and goin forward.

I'd far prefer the Celi's hood to that reguardless...cause Celi's look badass for the type of car they are. Its not like it wouldn't be a bad thing...we still know who has the better engine tho and still a better lookin (in some cases, I've seen some niceass Celi's) ryde

 

Wonder if their hood works with the $tealin Supercharger.. looks better than their aftermarket hood

 

I dont think it looks like a celica hood at all, and who the hell is stupid enough to mistake a Z for a celica. I think this is one of the best hoods out for the Z right now.

 

pls don't be offended if I think it resembles a celica in my eyes, it's just my opinion. chill.
I still think there are far better kits out there for the Z that I've seen, just my .02
