After 4 days I decided it was too rice / in your face. I changed it up today to something a little more subtle. Will post pics soon.

Don't know about ricey, but I do know that it's a fat "fix it" ticket waiting to happen. In Cali that is.

No, surely your car can light up however you want when it's stationary. Blinking underglow lights would be fine I assume as long as you don't operate the vehicle with any of them?

They look decent, althought I'd rather have the leds facing downward.
The footwell looks good.

I've always wanted to put little courtesy LED bars under the driver and passenger door to turn on with the dome lamp.
On when you open the door, off when you close. On for a bit when you unlock the doors, etc. Anyone else think this would be nice?

I dont think its too bad honestly I would have made all the lights blue IMO. But its your car and you can do whatever you want to it.

Yea, it should! Thanks for the DIY Voboy! Looks great. And for the others who commented, I had some fun playing around, but I've come to my senses and took the blue strut LED down. Love the footwell lighting though!

I like the idea, just as long as it doesnt light up when your driving.

Lower the brightness on the footwell lighting and its a winner..

Ditch the strut all together (which it sounds like your have already).

Looks like it would be distracting to other drivers...
