Default Cats vs. 350Z

Alright guys, I need some input. I have one cat, my girlfriend has 3, and my roomies gf just moved in with one...thats a lot of cats. These cats LOVE to climb all over vehicles...I guess they just love to be off the ground. I have been fighting with this car cover over the past couple weeks. It seems to **** me off every time I attempt to put it on, and slides off etc. last night I grabbed it and it snagged this pipe and it flipped it into the side of my car , chipped a little paint. It was the last straw, and the pipe, well, it died. To make matters worse I just stripped, claybar'd, polished, and waxed. I think I might kill the pipe again when I get home.

I dont want to use the car cover anymore, it grabs **** thats all rolled up in it and slams it into the car. Ive already done more damage than the cats haha. Not only that but its a complete pain in the ***, and is a little more abrasive than I like with the elastic edge. I was thinking about some sort of fabric and just draping it over the hood and roof. I thought about a large piece of fabric with weights at each end to put on each end of the car (dowls or something). it has to be a little thick so the claws dont penetrate, thin and slick would be the worst combo to give you an idea.

I just thought maybe someone has delt with this before. Getting rid of/killing the cats is not an option, just an FYI.

any touchup paint suggestions

I hate Cats and everything they stand for. I would suggest leaving the gf (cats have probably already taken her soul) and vacating the premises. A cats only purpose is to destroy things.

Cats are no worse than people on this earth Hell I even dislike some "stray" cats for sitting on my car. I think some of you guys are mixing stray cats with pet cats

Chris (catlover)

Get a car cover. I plan on doing the same. My car doesn't get to sleep inside

This sounds like a very easy solution - cat stew. Seriously, what kind of man is into cats?

I would drop those felines off a the local animal shelter and save not only your car, but also your manhood.

I think they have those pads you can put on your car to give the an electric jolt when they jump on it. Also I heard puttin some mothballs around the car helps.

A long time ago I used to sit in the garage with the hose and wait for my neighbors cat to hop on the car. I looved sprayin that lil bastard, but it didnt deter him from comin back. Just felt good

you can get a powder, it forms a "barrier" cat's don't want to go near...let me see if I can find the name, we usually keep it in the house.

here it is. works for dogs as well

I went and bought some cheap fabric at the fabric store, found a nice thicker (and soft) fabric to put over the hood and top/back. I got the z so damn smooth the fabric wont stay on, so I'll have to weight it down with something near the windshield. I will also check our pet stores around here for that powder stuff.

Thanks for your help!
