Any ideas on why the driver side window would do that? Any sort of guideline on diagnosing this? Passenger window works fine.

 

Never mind Found the thread on cleaning motor, ill try that tonight.

 

my driver side window motor died, i had to get a replacement motor. i think new they're up in the $3xx and i found them online used from car-part.com for like $180ish each.. luckily my friend tore out his car for racing and he gave me his motors.
