id paint it...i had a seibon CF hood on my b18 civic....it got one little crack, and the whole thing spidered out, i was gunna paint it..but i sold the car instead.
when i get a cf hood for this car, i will be for sure painting it.
p.s. ever seen heat (sun) damage to a cf hood? not pretty!

Looks good. Really flows well. The paint looks as good as it's going to get.
People really get into a rant about this. But some kits are way off. Bodykits are a different type of material than factory. So paint, no matter how close or dead on, the paint will lay different on the different materials. I have yet to see one dead spot on. You can go look right now at the rear of any Z, new or not and the upper and lower bumper is slightly off for it's different material from the factory. You can paint the entire car and it will be a tad off. Now my paint is off and been working with my body guy and a specialty paint shop in order to get closer. Hoping will be in the next few weeks. Course they said that a month ago.
