Passenger side dash panel removal
Does anyone know how to remove the large panel located on the passenger side lower dash where the glovebox normally resides? I have searched and come up short.
I have a metallic rattle behind that panel I need to address.

Metallic dash rattle
I figured out how to remove my lower passenger dash panel but I can't find the metallic rattle. I think it's in the passenger air bag since the rattle basically disappears when my wife rides along. Of course it could be in the passenger seat but it sounds like it's coming from the dash. Any ideas?

It's incredibly annoying. I only hear with my music off, but I know it's there, so I listen for it, and when I hear it I am annoyed. I wish I had some time to find it. Maybe one of these days. If someone could suggest a place that's common to rattle that would help though.

I took my passenger lower panel off and tried to fix the exact same rattle as you guys...a metallic vibration or something...start at the lower door sill and remove the lower kick plate and then the lower panel comes off with a couple bolts...its not hard just look in the maual at the instrument panel diagram...After i opened it up and took off a metal plate inside i covered a connector with duct tape and wrapped foam around a wire bundle...put it all back together and it was ok for a while but now i'm hearing some other rattle over there in the passenger side again and i think i should have looked better and taped up more things while i was in there. Also I think if i wedge something rubber between the windshield and the dash i can stop this new sound...its tough to keep this car quiet LOL...i posted somewhere else about fixing that buzzing sound
