why does the AC automatically turn on everytime you turn the fan on... even when the temp is set at 90!?!?

 

why would a little problem like this making you ask God? lol.

do you mean when your fan turn on, that the ac turns on?

 

lol, i wondered why this happened too, but didnt think about it enough to ask God.

 

If you are set to "recirculate" it will automatically come on, I leave mine on "outside air" and the fan on very low and it is not on, only then comes on when I hit the button.

 

Please use common sense when operating a motor vehicle. Thank you.

I thought I *had* read the manual pretty well. Guess I'll give it another go.

I hadn't thought to ask God, but mine does this too, at any temp, any "air direction" setting, any fan speed, and in recirc OR fresh air mode.

Of course, it's no big deal to reach over and turn the AC off. I am getting very proficient at this.

I bet you would be even more pissed if it didn't turn it on automatically. How about those 110 degree summer days and it doesn't turn on the AC for you? I can remember to turn it off but I couldn't ever remember to turn it on.
