i was at the stealership yestrday getting an oil change while i was waiting i was going through their inventory a saw a Z with the orange leather seats (2 piece seat) AND net kind looking in the middle. where could i get a hand on those babies?

i suppose these came only in roadster version of Zs. as i was looking at the nissan web.

You can purchase them from Nissan direct obviously....might wanna sit down however when you call parts dept.

They are only for the roadster however I had them in my coupe and I believe I was the first to have them in a coupe. The seats do fit however the wiring on the passenger side is NOT the same. The ZR tilts the seat as the top is lowered so that is what I could not figure out. The seats looked great and got tons of compliments on them. If you purchase them from a dealer be prepared for the shock of your life.

Damn those seats are nice... I'm not sure if its just me but it looks like its more "bucket" than the original ones. I wouldn't mind exchanging my stock orange ones for those either...

 

When the roadster first came out a few coupe guys said they checked out the prices at Nissan and the seats were $1200 a pop....

They work really good on warm days with the top down, air blows on your back to keep it dry...

It was probabily just the seat frame that was 1200 a pop. Go to Performance Nissan and price them out on the database, I am sure it is much more.

 

WTF are seats really that expensive?
