Default INGS+1 LX the way it should be painted.

I am about to purchase the LX kit come christmas time and have it painted and installed for spring to mach up with my nice new RPF1's. Thing is I think most people are not taking full advantage of what it is meant to look like.

The rear bumper which I dont have a pic of on this comp has an arched indentation arount the exhaust, much like the M3's do that should be painted flat/matte black.

The front lip has the same thing but I see day in and day out people just spraying the entire lip the color of the car. I feel that it should be masked and painted a matte black to further enhance the opening of the front grill. Allowing for a mean and more aggressive look.

Here is what I mean.............
orgininal

intended

and I believe this member already did it but its hard to tell with shadowing.

BTW my car is Silverstone.
Let me know what you think. I think the black out will be much much nicer.

i say paint the whole front lip one colour, it's a cleaner look. definitely paint the rear arch though..i think barashaz or something like that has the same paint scheme as i described..

I personally much prefer it in all one color - the dual colors looks awkward considering its all one piece, not 2

I personally like it all 1 color. Here's a couple of rear shots from members from this site respectively...

Carbon fiber overlay for the middle section or authentic CF? Replica?

Looks very clean, I like it. Are those C20 sides, they fit well with the Ings.

Thanx!, it's Carbon fiber overlay. The sides and rear are C20.
