I'm getting my Z tinted on Thursday..thinking about 20% sides and 5% for the little side window and rear window. I wanted 15% but the guy says it will be too dark...im trying to stay clear of getting pulled over. Had 20% on my GTP and never once bugged by the Law.
My bro's huge windows cost 200.00 in his Firehawk so I thought the Z's smaller windows would be cheaper but he's still charging 200.00 cuz he says the back will be hard cuz he cant get in the trunk to do it with the STB in the way...oh well.
When he walked out to see the car to tint, his first words were "WOOOWWW"...lol...I love that.

I've got 20% all the way around. I like the way it looks, but more importantly, it keeps my car MUCH cooler than it used to be.
I don't like 5% in the back, just because it's hard for me to see things at night. Hubby has that super dark stuff on his car and I'm always afraid that I'll hit something I can't see if I have to back it up. And that offense is probably punishable by divorce.
lol

I got 28% front and 18% in the rear. Its the max allowed by local law but it looks really dark regardless. I paid 145.00 for it with a lifetime warranty at a local shop. COuld have got it done a little cheaper but you pay for what you get. 200.00 is kinda steep for this car i would recommend getting a second opinion on that first.
Whats the point of getting uneven tint? I just got 20% all around and I like the fact that it looks the same on all windows.
The rear is dark enough to where you can barely see the tower bar going across the back.

5% is dark enough so that you cant see into the rear at all, no problems with people seeing whats in my hatch, Im in a college town, and regularly keep a few hundred $ worth of books back there, so I dont want anyone to see them. not even about the books, but the window theyd break to get them out.
sidewindows are so small that they blend right into the rest

I got 35%....not too like and not too dark; I like the way it looks. 50% is the legal limit here in Ohio, so I didnt want to get it too dark for reason to get pulled over. 50% is a big change for me...coming from 35% in Mississippi.
I love the way Ares' car looks, though.

Thanks ares! That looks bad ***. The legal limit in Tennessee is 35% so I think the 20/5 will be fine. I have a friend who has 0% all a round and has never had any problems with the police. I tell him I think he's a vampire because after riding 30 minutes in his car, you get out and the sun damn near blinds you.
Here in NJ its illegal, so I got 35% all around. I kind of wish I got it a bit darker 25%, but I don't know if that would attract cop trouble since I haven't had a problem yet (knock knock).
my tint was 150 I think, plus 20 for the visor strip I got(which was also 5%, this was the single most useful part of the tint) they did a great job, they ussually charge 170 for jus the tint, so it was a 20$ discount, as they do for all 350Zs. great service in atlanta.

side two: 43% shines thru
front top portion: 13% shines thru
I have pix in my website for those that might be interested.
still debating weather or not to do it.
i have a lot of people that like to peak in to c whos driving, or whats that bright light in the car (nav)....i dont know if i would want to tint the windows.
im doing the public a service by not tinting my windows...this way they can look inside when they want.

I got Limo Tint all around. I think it's considered 60-70%. Here in Florida, it's brutal with the sun. Even with the tint, it'll get bad. Plus the interior won't fade as quickly because of the darker tint. I even had the windshield tinted 20%. It helps tremendously with keeping the car cool. It's not bad at night driving, only when backing up. I usually have to roll down the window to use the side mirrors if necessary. That's the price you pay though.
60-70%? thats way darker than that, do you mean 40-30? its measured by amount let through, not amount blocked. 60-70 isnt dark at all. tho 40-30 isnt really either, I thought limo tint was like 5%.
