Default Anyone ever use the Bumper Blocker?

I just saw this today. I was thinking of buying one for the inevitable times I have to park on the streets... (I live in NYC.) I think this is a brilliant invention, but curious if anyone has some first hand experience. Didn't see it on any searches.... So whaddya'all think?

that pretty much sums it up right there. Maybe people wouldn't feel as bad tapping your bumpers with that on there.

sigh... well ur right it does look retarded, but there's just no choice at times. especially with all the crap-tastic garages here in nyc. its like a bumper car amusement park ride for some people. i have no idea what to do other than get rid of the z and buy a beater and be done with the stress of someone bumping it. dunno if you guys have ever parked in big cities before but those that live in decent places where people know how to park are lucky. cant always park in nice places... c'est la vie i guess.

I would rather have trashed bumpers than park with that thing on.

Looks absolutely ghastly! But if your plan is to only use it while parking, I say go for it. I would rather have a terrible-looking parked car than one that always looks bad (due to scuffed-up bumpers).

do you know how much of a PIA that looks like...also it'll probably do more harm than good and scratch up the paint when youre installing it.

get a long metal rod and screw it into your towhook. Sucks to be the person to back into your car
