i was thinking about changing out the parking light bulb to an actual blue bulb.... thought it would have a good accent on the actual HID's.... if anybody tried this already post a pic up.... im prolyl not gonna do this til sunday... but i will have before and after pics....

Blue is an illegal color in many states reserved for the po po only. I'm sure that they'll notice you pretty quickly if it's illegal and give you the chance to pay a fine after removing them if they're illegal in your state. Wonder if it's a DoT federal thing?

I did notice a full size Ford pickup with blue running lights a few weeks ago.

 

i thought about doing this.. would like to see pictures though, except i'm not talking about the parking light, but the wedge bulb.. anyone have pics?!

 

i had a blue led bulb on my headlight a while ago. they looked nice when they were on, and kinda matched the headlights beam. never pulled over or hassled for it. but ive since taken them out.

 

i doubt i'll get pulled over unless i ride around with only my parking lights on....
with the HID's, im pretty sure it wont be obviously blue... it will just accent the HID lighting....
plus cops around here dont waste their time with the whole red light blue light thing....


but yea.. gettin em sunday, hopefully i'll have pics by monday....

i replaced the parking light with a white LED, looks a little blue but not too much. i think it looks bad ***. i got them from superbrightleds.com i'll put up some pics tonight.

I've been wanting to remove it for some time now, but I don't want to reach my hand behind the wheel well and cut my hands to crap again.

 

how so? a blue parking light to make the HID's look better?
did i say anything about altezzas, whale fins, or a muffler that sounds like a lawn mower?

ok... so i put the lights in... looks great, and i had them in for a couple of days now, and so far no problems with gettign pulled over... drove behind cops and everything... obviously not that noticable of a diffrence from HIDs...
i'll put a pic up soon....
i think as long as i dont ride around with just the blue lights on, then im good =]
