Question Mounting front plate on aftermarket front bumper?

Unfortunately I live in NY and must have a front plate on my car. Problem is, I just got my Aerosync front bumper and now have to find a way to mount the front plate. Has anyone had any experience with mounting the front plate to an aftermarket front bumper?

Don't mount it.

Use can wrap the plate in a single layer of plastic saran wrap or something, and ziptie it to the bars on the bumper and the plastic will prevent scraping.

also, someone sells a 'Z bracket' that doesn't require you drill the bumper. it depends on the style of bumper I guess, but you should look into that.

I think the Aerosynch has the appropriate opening to mount the plate this way. search for 'Z bracket' .

Be rebellious and screw the front plate. Many of us California owners are like that

The aerosync bumper doesn't have a hole in the "bucktooth" for a Z-bracket to be hooked up to the tow-point.
Unless, the body shop cut it out.
I know mine didn't get cut when I got it painted.

you can always use the tow hook with the stillen plate holder so you don't need to drill holes.

I gave up trying to fight the man when i got slapped with two no front plate tickets in a span of a week. They're $110 each :S
