Default Where to buy a bumper for 03 Z

My GF's brother owns a 2003 (possibly 04) 350z in silver and hit a pole not too long ago and it cracked his front bumper. His mom wants to buy him a new bumper for Xmas but the dealership will probably want $500 so I wasnt sure if there was a place that sells OEM bumpers for cheaper or if there is a TASTEFUl aftermarket bumper that fits good and is cheaper..doesnt have to come painted as it would need to be paint matched anyways due to the car being older. ANY input on this would be helpful, i am going to browse the Classifieds to see if anyone in the DFW, TX area is selling a stock bumper but thats a long shot. TIA.

a bumper cover is about 250 from a dealer. that should be the only part you need to replace on the car. you gotta take into account the paint costs as well. and any decent aftermarket front bumper will cost you more than that.

check out Z-1 Auto for the Aerosync front bumper. (http://www.z1auto.com/)

it's a 'molded' version of the V1 Nismo bumper which is very simliar to stock, but slightly more aggressive with a lower lip.

it's urethane as well so if he hits a pot hole it will fare better than most of the FRP or Fiberglass versions out there.

Also PM Gruppe-S or Z1Performance for quotes. I believe their forum prices are slightly less than the websites.

you can probably expect to pay anywhere between $200-$400 for paint. I got a quote from a local place to have my rear bumper painted, it was $260.
check ebay out, there are a lot of bumpers on there as well.

wow..it was less than that for my M3 at the dealership...and im not sure about nissan paint but bmw is far from cheap...not too mention this involved stripping off old paint and redoing it..not just painting a brand new bumper
