Still Shine. Their Nismo V2 replica fitment is dead-on. My Shine V2 had 100% perfect fitment.

Just a little input..maybe worthless, but it seems like all of shines products are great aside that their Amuse sides have been a little off. In another post however, Ken said that he has been addressing this issue and reworking another mold.

I think alot of the hastle that people run into is the BS that the body shop tells them. Body shop just running their mouth trying to make money.

I took my USDM Rear Nismo pieces to get quotes and got $150 every where for jsut two tiny *** pieces in the rear for prep and paint only. Ended up talking to my usual shop and they do high-end cars only, they were able to bring it down to $97 after tax so I chose them for the work.

Where did you buy your kit from? I have the V1 front and im thinking of selling it to get the V2 kit.

My shine v2 bumper required alot of prep work. There were some waves in the materials that you couldn't really see until it was pointed out by the shop. Once I saw it after paint, the bodyshop knew I wouldn't like the result and corrected it by doing even more prep work. I ended up paying an extra $150 in prep work besides the $275 to paint the bumper. In the end, I was pleased but only because they make their stuff with that flexible material. The fitment was dead on for the front. For the side skirts...driver side was dead on and the passenger side was slightly off, but the authentic one was off as well so not their fault. I'd just watch for waves in the outter gel coat if you are super **** like me. I have to admit, Ken is very good with customers. If you don't like it, he'll exhange it. I had to do this for one of the rear pieces because the label they put on the inside baked into the fiberglass and pushed out to the visable part of the fin. Ken gladly shipped me a new one without the label after.

and yes....pin holes are very common. Look at your bumper very very closely, you'll see them. They are super small, but they're there. They need to be filled.

For what its worth, my Shine Central 20 kit required basically zero prep work. Just primed and painted, and bolted on.

I just got my car back from the bodyshop, and Makito did an excellent job! After all, he's the guy Ken refers all his customers to.
He told me that front wasn't that hard to work with, but the sideskirts made him say out some F words several times lol

My feelings exactly!!! I ordered the Amuse front bumper but went with the FRP diffuser. I think I may order a C/F diffuser for the HIN shows coming up next year.

bumper is fkn dead on, looks oem. the skirts could be better but still excellent. prep was easy, nothing out of the norm for aftermarket.

some teaser pics before the rest of the car is done.
