Default Will this work on my car?

I am wondering if this remote will work on my 07 350z I want a better looking one because the one it comes with is ugly, do u think i can take my chip out and just put it in this one?, and if not where can I find one where it will work, thanks

I've considered doing this. I think a swap of components will work. But you have to realize something, the valet/emergency key is to be fitted inside that keyfob, so if you don't care about having an opened gap, it's fine. Also, our transponder chip is located inside the key frame, and not the key fob, which is a plus.

But thanks for posting that link, because I may order the fob and try to see if I can transplant the hardware out of my spare into this one. I think it shouldn't be more than a 30 minute job.

No go, fellas. Took it all apart, the contact patches don't align. The board will fit, but the contacts are offset differently. Shame. I suppose someone with good soldering experience could pull it off, but I don't really have the time to figure it out.

Anybody want an Altima, Maxima I-key? LOL.
