Default A body kit design by me. Opinions?

Was playing with some body kit ideas. Basically did a quick and sloppy photoshop of what I thought would be a nice bumper for the Z. (IMO)

What do you think?

hmmmmm im voting 'me no like'

Its not just ur design, i think i fit in the minority group here who feels the Z doesnt owe to ne exterior mods like a new front or boot wings.

The Nismo front i can just tolerate since its very subtle and works with the existing design, but then u have to fit the skirts and rear parts as well to match it all up and thats where i decide nope, Z looks good as is.

Thumbs down

I'm not digging the 'nostril'-type intake on the upper bumper.

ill say this much, you have more of an eye for style than most body kit manufacturers.
its subtle, i like to two inlets on the lower portion of the lip, but i think the "nostril" should be taken out.
other than that it looks nice.

The nostril part was admitedly R34 inspired on my part.
I tried a bunch of things. to see what might look good.

Out of that 3x3 grid, I think the center one is probably best, although I'm not digging the foglight position too much =\

Looks like the Celica's action package bumper and the new Celica 03 redisigned bumper.

It also look alot like the import life' bumper design with the 2 vents. It looks alot like a pontiac grand am.

Im not feeling it at all but nice photoshop skills.

Jason,

I've seen it attempted before but i'm curious to see what a more subtle Porsche GT2 front airdam would look like on that blue Z.

Basically with the same airdam size of the top-center one from your grid, but more circular with the single cut through it.

Someone actually made a similar kit for the Jetta...

I don't like the first one cuz the foglights look weird next to the clear reflectors. Outta the grid, I also like the center one the best.

Ditto. If that was offered for sale I would buy it.

I dislike the front of the Z (gasp!), but most all of the body kits being offered are outrageously horrific.

can you do something for me?

take the one on the right in the middle row and change one thing for me. the fog lights...have the insides of them keep the same line as the headlights (so the inside of them is at an angle). i think this would make the lines fit together even more. the hood lines are staying with the bumper....now make the headlight lines stay with the fog lights. if someone made that for me...i'm sport it all over town! haha.

if you have the chance. pick up the FAIRLADY Z: Perfect Guide (not the HyperRev) and they have the design concepts that nissan was looking at before their final front end design.. there is one that looks like a ferrari 550 and one that looks a little like a bass mouth but really is good looking.. if you want i can scan an image later tonite..
