I love my rear wiper, if it rains or snows, there is no way to get it off the rear without the wiper, I tried rain-x, the defrost, nothing works....

but I guess if you live where it doesn't usually rain and you want a more pleasant picture...its all good

From the pictures that I've seen, the HD ones are a bit larger and the edges are not as flush with the hatch. The ones I have are about the side of a quarter.

Me and JZurita are the only ones so far that have posted. I would like to see some more pics of other people with them.

FYI ....Volvo was the first automobile manufacturer in the world to offer rear windshield wipers. The reason being Volve designers(women) found out raindrops and snow also land on the rear window.

I use my rear wiper as well, but never use the windshield washer fluid. Actually, when I try to use it, the wiper wipes as it should for a few passes, but no liquid comes out, so either my spray valve at the top of the windshield is clogged, or the tubing isn't working right.... or the motor is bad, who knows. I have this fear the washer fluid is leaking somewhere in the plumbing that leads to the nozzle. What I would like to do is remove the tubing that leads to the rear nozzle and plug it at the pump. Anyone have experience with that? The hole where the nozzle is would actually make a good spot for a GPS or XM radio antenna, once the nozzle was removed.

I like my rear wiper! To only save 5lbs. its not worth the hassel but i must say if you want the clean look w/o wiper is the way to go.

I've really come to appreciate the rear wiper after having this car. I dont know how I ever got along without it, I always wished I had one on my previous car. When you get in your car after its been sitting and its raining out or drizzling, theres absolutely no way to see through the back window.

I just did, but it's not here yet. I'll report how the colormatch and quality is on my Silver Alloy.

EDIT: And just put some sealant meant for paint on the rear window, no problems then.
