I receieved the kit yesterday.
I was going to install both pieces, but only the nozzle delete was visually prepared to be on my Z.

The actual wiper plug was a few shades off from Redline and the plug appeared flat in finish with sand-like imperfections. Not to mention, I think during transit there was some paint rubbed off.

I would suggest people purchase the Version 1 plug.

I'm going to PM GotPlugz. I am assured he is a great seller. Hopefully I can exchange just the Version 2 wiper plug for the Version 1.

On a sidenote, I think an ANTENNA delete plug would be awesome!!!!!Especially for those whom don't often the radio stations. BTW there are window antennas that, IMHO, work as well as the stubby antennas(which is just good enough.)

Got my V2 plug last week. Didn't come with any directions so I pm'd someone on here and he told me how to install it. I am satisfied with the product as the paint is 10X better than what I did on the faucet plug. I sealed it with silicon and covered the back of it with duct tape. For $30 the paint quality alone is worth it IMO.

Curious....

If the Z didn't come with a rear wiper...would this thread be about "adding a rear wiper?"

Ive sent 10 emails between 04/01 and 05/24 with no response. Good guy or not, this is poor business and in this forum the means by which he should be judged.

I purchased a kit in March it has poor fitment and chipped paint. I tried resolution through other means to no avail.

Perhaps he will see this and ammend the complaints on this thread.

Is there anyone else with complaints for GotPlugZ?

I'm quite irritated and at this point can only hope his temporary ban can protect other consumers.

i personally don't love it or hate it i just dont use it. i think i have maybe used it once when it snowed and i was too lazy to just clean the snow off my entire car but other than that it doesn't get use from me. so for me its kind of like why not get rid of it, a z has a very clean look at the back without it but thats opinion. if i used it more i'd probally want to keep it.

but i'm actually a good friend of the creator of the plugs and i'll mention to him that there are a few unhappy customers on here but you have to understand he is one person with a life and a job and a 1 and a half month old baby so he's got alot on his plate right now, cut him some slack

Matt-
I had one of the first v2 kits and my buddys v1 seems alot better. Paint chipped off from touching it while installing and If soemone wanted too they could push the v2 wiper plug right into ur hatch.

I had the same experience, i ordered the V2 kit which the flush type plug and after waiting for so long the item finally arrived but he sent me the V1 kit so i told myself screw it....if he won't responded to any of my email i don't think he's gonna fix his discrepancy in a timely manner To give him some kinda credit his product is decent in quality wise i ain't gonna lie.

The plugs he uses are sold at Lowe's for like $1. If you get some touch up paint or some other way to paint it you could easily do it yourself for much cheaper

On a positive note for the seller, I had problems with my V2 kit so he sent me a replacement V2 and V1 kit so I could decide which one I liked better. Good service, not fast, but good.

They are in the hardware section, the aisle with hinges, wire by the foot, screws, etc. There is a bunch of drawers that pull out and have miscellaneous items in them. You can get grease fittings, furniture hardware, all kinds of things. That is where they are. Just look at the pictures on the front of the drawers and you will see them.
